Key Metrics Explained
A view is counted each time someone loads your form page. This includes both unique visitors and returning visitors. Use this metric to understand total form traffic.
A start is counted when someone interacts with the first question. This helps you understand engagement vs. bounce rate.
A completion is counted when someone successfully submits your form. This is your most important conversion metric.
Your overall conversion rate from views to completions. Industry average is 20-40% for most forms.
Partial Responses
Partial responses let you see incomplete submissions - who started your form but didn't finish, what they answered, and where they dropped off. Available on Starter plan and above.
Auto-Save Progress
As visitors answer questions, their responses are automatically saved in real-time.
Capture Contact Info Early
Ask for email or phone number early in the form to enable follow-up on partial responses.
Review & Follow Up
See all partial responses in your dashboard and reach out to recover the lead.
Sample Partial Response
On average, teams using partial responses recover 40% of incomplete submissions by following up via email or phone. That's valuable lead data you would have otherwise lost!
Drop-off Analytics
Drop-off analytics show you exactly where visitors abandon your form. Use this data to identify friction points and optimize your questions for higher completion rates.
Question 4 ("What's your budget?") has a 20% drop-off rate - significantly higher than other questions.
Optimization Ideas:
- • Make this question optional
- • Provide budget ranges instead of asking for exact numbers
- • Move this question later in the form
- • Add context explaining why you're asking
